I fully agree with what you wrote. The profits on Medium are not proportional to the length of the stories but to the time devoted to the story by the readers. If a long story, which takes even 10 minutes to read, no n is compelling from the start, no one will continue to read it in its entirety and therefore will not generate attractive profits. In contrast, a story that is short but gets straight to the point can generate interesting profits. Good story, bravo!
