What happened to the Top Writer status on Medium.com?

Writers who achieved the status of “Top Writer” on Medium.com, meaning they ranked among the top 50 writers for a specific topic on the lower part of the “about” page, used to automatically receive the label “Top writer in #…”.

Now, this label has disappeared.

What happened to it?
